Step D

The second to last step of the FRIENDS program is  "D" (Do it Everyday)

In Step D, children are asked to look back and review the FRIENDS skills they have learned. These are skills that can be used everyday to make them into a habit, and not just skills to use when things go wrong. Children are reminded to stay calm if they are doing or facing something difficult, because they know the FRIENDS skills to help them feel more confident and brave.

Children are encouraged to practice the activities they learn in the school program, in the ‘Things to Remember Every Day’ section at the end of each session in order to increase their mental and physical well-being.
